BEING HIRED TROUHG A VIDEO GAME

Nowadays, there are lot of business companies that use video games to select candidates for a job in the company. If you’re able to win in a video game which simulates the stock market and others that challenge you to direct a restaurant, you have many possibilities to get a job. A lot of important companies as Barclays, Daimler or the Central Bank of Canada use that way to preselect candidates.

‘Gamification’: There are also different games that let you show different skills of the future candidates. Each game is different. ‘Gamification’ is a new practice that seeks to replace or guiding activities of everyday life with games or video games. However, it is not an innovate practice.

Video games are used to establish personality traits of a candidate and to understand the degree of satisfaction of a customer or market research, among others.
